We know for sure where the road begins but we don’t know where it ends. Most of us check the maps and roads to know what would be the best route to take, even so, we can’t see bumps, ditches or any other kind of fault that the road might have. Is it okay to go on? Will it be safe?
Well, if we want to move on, we have to start moving. Taking a new journey could be scary, but think about all the places and the people you might meet on the way. Focus on what you will learn and what you will be able to share with those who surround you. Change is never easy, but as my great-uncle used to say, “either you renew yourself or you die!” There is a lot of truth in those words. We can’t just sit still and wait for something to happen or for something to shift by itself, we have to create change. We must provoke a different kind of environment and community.
Of course, change takes courage, it means transforming, reinventing the course of our journey. Will it be easy? Maybe not, but if this is for the better, why not give it a try. As some say, you won’t know until you know. This means, put on your running shoes and begin your new journey! I can tell you, I have already started mine, and I am sure loving it!
