Something that really caught my attention was the color of the landscape, pale greens, earthly tones and bright blues were majestically decorating the view. Early in the morning I could see orange, yellow and pink covering the sky. A very cold wind made me run from spot to spot. Traveling by train was a wonderful experience, I was able to read during the ride, that was something I really enjoyed. One night a full moon was shining the bright sky.
Traditions, culture, language and relationships are important. We feel safe knowing we belong. So, while being here, I have learned to respect, yet again, the power of belonging. Knowing you belong helps you feel safe, makes you aware of things you had forgotten or had dismissed, it also helps you to remember that somebody is waiting for you to get home. And, even though this has been a great learning experience, I’m ready to get there, home.
