Well, most people would probably tell you that it’s not okay, that you should continue with what you are doing because that is what has proven security, that life goes on and that you shouldn’t stop in the middle of the road. Some might say that you are old enough to know better. I am here to tell you that it is okay to start over.
As hard as it might seem it takes a lot of courage to understand that mistakes are second chances. This brings me to the following statement: If one makes a mistake, it should be an opportunity to grow and to continue learning.
As you probably know by now, everything goes back to learning with me. As a teacher I seek to increase knowledge, as tough as it may seem. Nevertheless, I think that when time and opportunity collide it is the greatest moment for anyone to take. It usually is the occasion to set a new course, a new path. I can understand that this might cause discomfort and uncertainty, but believe me, it brings growth.
Begin reading books, start writing, teach somebody, learn a new skill, cook your favorite meal, bake your favorite dessert. Any of these actions will help you to understand change and thus it will help you to open your mind to new ideas, to different desires and possibly it will also allow you to find the course of your future goal. Don’t despair! Keep at it!
Life is too short to stop!
